Public Prep Celebrates Literacy with Joan Ganz Cooney and Peter G. Peterson

Public Prep will hold its Second Annual Namesake Luncheon in Celebration of Literacy at the Metropolitan Club, honoring Joan Ganz Cooney, co-founder of Sesame Workshop and Peter G. Peterson, co-founder of The Blackstone Group, Chiarman of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, and former U.S. Secretary of Commerce.
Girls Prep Announces Exclusive Scholarship with Stephens College

Stephens College, the second-oldest women’s college in the country, announced today that for the first time in its 179-year history it will offer a four-year, full-tuition scholarship to a student from Girls Prep Lower East Side Middle School, the first all-girls charter school in New York City.
