Girls Prep Lower East Side Middle School (Girls Prep LES Middle) opened in the fall of 2009 and is currently serving grades 5-8. Girls Prep Middle School students have an extended day, to ensure that their academic needs are met and exceeded. Upon graduation, our girls will be ready to enter the best college prep high schools in New York.
Girls Prep Lower East Side Middle School is part of the Public Prep Network, a nonprofit organization that develops single-sex elementary and middle public schools that pursue excellence through continuous learning and data-driven instruction. Our model is designed to empower each student to build strong character, demonstrate critical thinking, possess a core body of knowledge, and be on a predictive path to earn a degree from a four-year university.
